Blocking
Soak the finished doily in water (or a starch solution for stiffness). Pin it out to size on a blocking board, making sure all the points and scallops are evenly spaced. Allow to dry completely before removing the pins.
Tips
Thread crochet can be challenging if you’re used to working with yarn. Use a well-lit workspace and take breaks to avoid eye strain. Stitch markers are essential for keeping track of your rounds in the lace sections.
